Complete hull refurbishment and re-application of Non Slip Deck Coating.  

Alexa-Mae came to us for routine blacking, fitting of anodes, reapplying non slip deck coating to gunwales and deck. We started by pressure washing the boat then preparing the hull by removing rust patches and treating with rust inhibitor. We then painted the boat up to the top rubbing strake in Ballastic Two-Pack epoxy blacking with two coats and a further coat from the base plate up to the gunwales in Jotun Pinoer acrylic resin based topcoat. The gunwales were masked and we applied Hempel Non-Slip Deck Coating over the topcoat. Eight new 2.8Kg Magnesium Anodes were welded to the hull at this point. Finally we masked the deck and reapplied Hempel Non-Slip Deck Coating to the deck. See below for images of our work at various stages throughout the project.
