Cranage
Our Kobelco MB700 Crawler Crane is available for lifting boats in and out of the water. Our crane is operational 5 days a week from Monday to Friday.
The types of lift we are available to offer:
- Launch vessel off transport
- Load vessel onto transport
- Lift vessel from river and chock on hardstanding
- Lift vessel off transport and chock on hardstanding
- Lift and hold vessel for survey

Services
Hull Maintenance
Whether your boat is made of wood, steel or plastic, regular upkeep of hull condition is essential to keeping your boat afloat and in good working order. Many boats will arrange for a hull survey to assess the condition of their hull prior to undertaking any maintenance. We work with many of the leading marine surveyors in the area, click the link below to view their details.
Hull maintenance services we offer:
- High-pressure jet washing
- Hull preparation. Removal of old flaky and loose paint and rust treatment, if required.
- Coating the hull with suitable paint. Bitumen blacking or two-pack epoxy for steel boats and Anti-Foul for GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) or wooden boats. We only use the best brands for coatings such as AkzoNobel International, Hempel and Ballastic.
- Other services or coatings are available on request.
Services
Magnesium Anodes
Anodes are an integral part of your boat and are essential for protecting the hull of steel boats (and underwater metal parts of all boats) from electrolytic corrosion. Electrolysis occurs when any electrical currents in the water effectively eat away at the metal parts of your boat by stripping electrons away. The installation of sacrificial anodes (specifically magnesium for freshwater boats) act as a positively charged electrode to attract erosion away from the metal parts of your boat.
Anodes fitting services we offer:
- Welded magnesium anodes (steel hull)
- Bolt on magnesium anodes (steel hull)
- Smaller ancillary anodes for the protection of sterndrives, propellor shafts, propellers, rudders, trim tabs and skin fittings.
- Other anode fittings services are available on request.

Diesel & Gas Sales
We sell red diesel for marine use on boats. We offer declaration options from 0% (heating use only) in 10% increments through to 60% (40% heating). If you are unsure about what declaration you should be making you can find guidance by clicking HERE.
We are also a Calor Approved Retailer and stock Propane (6,13 & 19Kg) and Butane (7 & 15Kg) cylinders. At this time we are only able to offer exchanges.

Pump Out
We offer a pump out service for all boats. If you need to empty your sewage waste holding tank our custom-built pump-out waste evacuation system is always working and is known to be one of the most reliable on the river. It’s also serviced so we do all the hard work for you.

Chandlery
Our Chandlery Shop keeps stock of most marine essentials to keep you going on the river. Give us a call if there is something specific you are looking for.
